Tree & Shrub Planting

Trees and shrubs are the backbone of a landscape, and they last for decades if they start well. Too deep, too tight or in the wrong spot, and even a healthy plant struggles for years.

We select and plant trees and shrubs for homeowners in Nashville and Middle Tennessee with attention to mature size, sun, soil and utilities. Each plant gets a properly sized hole, correct depth, mulch and watering guidance, and trees are staked when they need it.

FAQ

Common questions about tree & shrub planting

When is the best time to plant trees in Tennessee?

Fall is excellent, and early spring works well too. Container plants can go in during much of the year with extra watering.

How far from the house should a tree go?

It depends on mature size. We check height, spread, roots and overhead lines when we place it.

Do new trees need staking?

Sometimes. Staking helps in windy spots and should come off after the first year or so.
